What happens if the English revolution doesn't happen? What changes? What does it look like? Personally I think this is a bit ASB.

In my opinion, the best way to avoid this revolution would be to let England win their colonial wars against France, with the money generate by Indians and west Indians territories they would avoid many of their bankruptcy and the French will lack of funds to corrupt the country and support Scottish and Irish rebels
Agreed. The British could’ve become a surprisingly strong empire if not for the French and the other regions.
Granted, I don’t know how that would impact the Americas. The French managed to retain positive relations with the natives which put them into conflict against the former 13 colonies, though the lack of the British meant a lack of unity between them, which meant the Iroquois kept them from expanding and allowed them to keep strong control of the Great Lakes.
Though the British Revolution did influence the French Revolution to force it into constitutional monarchy and the radical republicans fled to Louisiana.
Not sure if Mexican Federation would still become the dominant power of the Americas, especially since a lot of influential minds ended up there.
OOC: The thing with DBWI is that anyone can add to it and you have to take the butterfluy effect into consideration. Just because Britain is a rpublic doesn't mean the world stays the same. Politics, tactics and so much more change. Here, I figure Mexico could become the dominant American power with a gimped US and CanadaWhat Mexican Federation? They never did become one in OTL. But I agree we couldn't really hold on to our republican empire for long.

The English Revolution is the English Civil War right? It can be a bit confusing when different countries use different names...
It depends what country you are in and what political stance you take. A lot of succession crisises, invasions, or general unpleasantness has been labeled as one or the other. Then there are the Barons' Wars, the Anarchy, the Despenser War... the last one probably doesn't matter so much. I admit I only really know of the Anarchy because I saw Cadfael on the EBC. They called Empress Matilda Maud there, which does made it sound more English or Norman. Apparently she did use it, though people go with the Latin form Matilda. Anyways, fun series. I disagree with the complaints that they changed too many Welsh names to make them sound better on the show. After all, it is easy enough tell people apart in the text when they have ridiculous names, but Welsh is a dead language, even more so than the Anglo-Saxon names that were changed. The English Revolution is the English Civil War right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_AnarchyThe British anarchists as a major faction were a myth from wack alternate historians and the EBC: the "Educational" broadcasting channel. People nowdays even confuse wether the British Dictatorship was Fachist or Communist.
So, have you read that TL where England and France basically reversed roles with England developing into a constitutional monarchy while France see-saws for a century until the "Third Republic" brings a measure of stability?
