We all remember the case of MLS star Elian Gonzalez entering the United States in 1999. Fortunately for Easy G, as his fans call him, he stayed in the US with his uncles, where he caught on in a select soccer league in Florida and is now lighting it up for the Vancouver Whitecaps. He's one of the best draws in MLS, and his performance in the 2014 World Cup was the talk of the tournament right up until Germany eliminated the Americans in the semis.
What if he had gone back to Cuba? Would he have taken up soccer? Another sport?
