Maybe a tad ASB, but what if the Germans had intervened in Franceduring the "Emergency Rule period" and during the Italian Civil War to extended the Zollverein over the former Entente powers, creating something similar to todays European League? Does this butterfly the World War?

Britian and Russia will still remain opposed to Germany, but without France to act as mediator they're unlikely to settle into their uneasy truce as they did OTL. It's even possible that the British could have intervenved in the "population transfers" occuring throughout Central Asia during the 30's, and lord only knows how that would have ended.

(OOC: Kay this is based of an old scenario I came up with for OTL, where Britian and France make an early EU-ish organisation that helps prevent WW2.
Now, I've just turned it round. The CPs won the Great War, and that led to much crap-sackery across the former Entente.
Here, they form the "European League" after the World War (so called cause it had major fronts in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific. Plus German sabatoeurs working in Canada :p) and this becomes TTL version of the EU, except with power concentrated on Central rather then Western Europe.
So basically, what happens if France and Italy get absorbed into this German dominated trade-bloc/alliance system after the Great War rather then start WW2?
More backstory here.)
