I'm sure we've all heard of the 2008 parody film Disaster Movie. Although it wasn't financially successful, it was critically acclaimed upon release, with many calling it "the new Airplane!" and it has often been listed as one of the greatest movies of all time. After watching The Men Behind the Disaster, a 2018 film about the directors of Disaster Movie, Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg (who had previously created two critically panned movies: Date Movie and Epic Movie), and the history of the production of the movie, a thought came to me: what if Disaster Movie wasn't a success?
