DBWI: Delorean favored to win Paris-Beijing Rally, again

Back on topic. Another issue that could definitely make things interesting in the race coverage is the competition by European and American GPS systems to monitor the race. Apparently both the United States Space Force (USSF) and the European Space Agency (ESA) are both claiming that the other system interferes with the reliability of the other....

Hence why SIMCA plans to use France's own GPS system for monitoring the race. :D

The USSF system seems to be working fine for us. It was accurate to within inches when we ran it, and the start and finish lines have independent systems. It'll be fine.

We got a bit of a setback, Jimmy knocked down a stone wall just outside Bordeaux in a test run yesterday. Substantial damage, but the mechanics say it'll be good to go for the race.

Good Grief!!! Already The Arsenio Hall Show (FOX-TV) is making fun of the fact that your accident has made international headlines. Apparently the biggest laughs came from Hall's monolgue when he pointed out, "Why is it Ron Paul is proposing that we send troops into Venezuela, when Team DeLorean can' seem to get out of a parking lot without causing a fender-bender? These aren't jokes, these are things that make you go HMMMMM..."

Arsenio screwed up. Jimmy's driving for Chevrolet. And somebody filmed Jimmy's practice screwup, too. I'd like to find that clown right about now.

Anyway, Hyundai shouldn't be laughing either. One of theirs got wrote off by Dan Wheldon. He's OK, but the car is history.
