DBWI cure for aids not found

1987 the aids crisis was bad the average survival time for some one with aids was 18 months.

In Keene state a post doctoral student named Bruce Spencer, has dug up information on bacterial phage therapy. Five months ago his brother informed him that he had aids. In a desperate bid to do anything to save him he sold his car and managed to get some bacterial phages. They do not work on the virus in an act of desperation he goes to the physics department after midnight and hit a sample of his phages with radiation.

This shouldn't have worked at all, the radiation burst should have destroyed the phagues, but instead they mutated them, the new phages were tested and devoured the virus. In an act that many people called desperate he called his brother and used the phages on him.

With in 3 weeks he was HIV free, after another 3 years of testing the cure was made available to the public aids if caught early enough could be cured, but what if the phages hadn't mutated like that? What if the cure didn't exist what would our world look like today?

Well, Freddie would have been dead a long time ago and Queen wouldn't had overcome Michael Jackson in popularity. Altough he admitted that he had AIDS just a few years ago, we must admit that his use of the treatment in 1988 made the cure popular, even only through rumours an gossip. Considering that AIDS is sexually transmited, without a cure we would have seen a resurgence in conservative customs and the story of Sodoma and Gomora again purging the Earth would have become reasonably correct in a lot of peoples minds

Well, I think wave of homosexuality criminalisation which we saw would not have taken off as much as it did had no cure been found.
It’s not a “gay” disease. Despite popular belief. Heterosexual can and do get it.
We had few famous straight people with HIV. Maybe if that ha been the case, the tide would have remained for liberalisation with respect to homosexuality laws. Of course, the damn priest scandal came and that was it as far as voters were concerned.
