Recently, the passing of the King of France has restarted talks by some within the country to move towards the idea of France becoming a Republic and ditching the monarchy, which seems to have been gaining steam slowly over the last two decades due to scandals within the Royal Family and some of their involvement in the legislature. And there's also been some movements in Ottoman Turkey and within Brazil to move further towards a more Republican style of goverment...

This got me to wondering... what might the world be like if Constitutional Monarchies were the exception, rather than the norm?
