(Assume this is written in some Indian Language)

WI the Varna* System wasn't reformed in the age of colonization to include colonized foreigners in it with respect to their prior occupations, instead of lumping all of them as sudras**, which was the policy of the first explorers.

I know that this was inevitable, because the logistics of colonization demanded some local collaboration and we needed some vassals, especially in Europasthan and we could not justify their rule to our people without classifying as Kshtrias. It was also beneficial because the Alaministhani Brahmins contributed a lot to science and philosophy when then were allowed into our universities. Even after their independence, nations in Europasthan and Afristhan have benefited from our civilization and culture, and the Varna system has led to their continued stability and cultural growth. After all it was later learned that nations in Europasthan were formed by branches of early Arya society that migrated westwards. Classifying all of them as Sudras would have been cruel and would have hurt the development of global culture.

One other proposal that was floating around was elimination of the Varna System altogether. That would have led to Atheism and Materialist Plutocracy, like we have in Charvakan*** Sri Lanka, which I have heard is now being adopted by a lot of thinkers in Greater Ch'in and the Nipponi Empire as well. That wouldn't be the world I'd want to live in.

**The Lowest Caste
***Charvaka was an Indian materialistic philosopher (OOC: yeah, I know he should probably have been butterflied away, but hey, maybe he wasn't ;) )
