There's talk about a second referendum in Canada later this year. I'm curious what do you think would have happened if there had been a more emphatic 'Yes' vote in the first referendum in 1995?
If you recall in the last referendum there was a 50.16% YES vote, which was rejected by congress, the President, and the Supreme Court in Levesque v. the United States which held that 50% plus one was not enough of a threshold to enter into secession talks.
