I wonder what would've happened to George Allen. Since he wouldn't be made Vice President in November of 2005, would he win re-election to the Senate in 2006, perhaps run for President in `08?
I know this should be reserved for Chat, but what do you guys think about Governor Rubio's latest gaffe on the campaign trail?
Pretty darn embarrassing. Going to a salad bar and saying that "Richardson doesn't eat this"
idk, like, 3 weeks in and already Rubio called his opponent fat
Pretty embarrassing indeed

Nah. Too inexperienced in 2008. Even his selection as VP candidate this year is a slight punt for Democrats. But he is a popular liberal, he is reasonably young, and an African American VP is sure to encourage the black vote out.I think that senator Obama would of become president.
I always felt badly that Laura Bush lost both her legs when her husband was killed.
