The United States was doomed from the beginning. Adams, at least, was able to hold it together as long as he could. Jefferson, as inspiring as his ideology was, was a horrible administrater, as history showed. Honestly, its all about the Dombecks, Thomas and Matthew. Hail Canada!
If it weren't for the Dombecks and certain others, Canada wouldn't have been able to shed the illegal monarchist shackles and most likely would've turned into a vassal state of the U.S.
But now, in 1988, not only is our territory still intact(granted, both Ontario AND Quebec did try to break away at one point), we now even dominate good sections of the former United States, now that that country has ceased to exist in any formal sense(although a few successor states do exist and many countries are now beginning to recognize them, in some cases, as part of one entity; Birdboy2000, you did say you were from South Africa at one point in another thread, did you not?); Cahokia & Illinois[1], as well as Wyoming, were admitted as full provinces in 1979, and from what I hear, Alaska will be in our hands as well by 1992.
The biggest problem right now, IMO, is all the U.S. war criminals still running around. Haven't been able to catch very many since 1977[2].
Also, Baron Harkonnen, I'd like to inform you that Salvador Allende was killed in 1944 while the Rebellion Wars were still going on. The Jackals REALLY hated that guy.
[1]Cahokia consists of the former states of Wilkinson, Nebraska, and Iowa, and Illinois now owns the former Indiana.
[2]The U.S. went thru a disastrous civil war which finally broke the nation in 1977.
