DBWI: Australian Revolution Fails

Lets say that the Princess Victoria doesn't fall from her horse in 1925, making her the heir when her uncle William dies. Augustus I wouldn't have sent the attempted revolutionaries from the April Rising to New South Wales, prompting a surge of liberal feeling in the colony. Maybe the Jewish homeland in Van Diemans land wouldn't have been established, but that's sort of ASB.

All you need to do is stop Vicky from falling from her horse and you might have a less bloody outcome if she's on the throne; remember, she was far more sympathetic to the common people than her cousin Augustus was. If anyone could stop an escalation, it was her.

And as for the Jewish homeland in V.D.L.? You can forget about that if Vicky lives, as they'd all be sent to Uganda or Palestine instead.....in fact, it almost didn't happen IOTL.

But if Victoria lived, the Russians could have capitalised even more on their gains, seeing Britain ruled by a girl. Hell, they could even have have invaded Persia after seizing Constantinople.
