I remember, Isabella of Austria was dowered of Rousillon, Franche Comte and Artois and married the son of Anne of Brittany and Louis XII, Charles IX and Claude of France married Charles V who died in 1522 and had only one child who survived adulthood, Infanta Margarita b. 1521, who married to Ferdinand II of Portugal b. 1523, the son of Catherine of Austria and John III of Portugal, Anne of Brittany delivered Charles IX on autumn 1502, Charles V remarried to Isabella of Portugal after Claude's death.
Charles IX of France was able to convince Henry VIII and the pope to break the union between him and Catherine of Aragon and marry his daughter, Mary of England to his son Louis, the dauphin, the second marriage of Henry VIII with Anne Boleyn was blessed by a son on 1533 named Edward VI, however, Anne Boleyn was burnt at the stake by her husband on 1536 after being discovered as a heretic.
How would history be different if Anne of Brittany fails to bear a son?
