DBWI AHC: Make a country go communist

Yeah, they had one bank and even that one had all assets in projects like Prague Steel plant, a behemoth that no body could possibly run succesfuly and that predictably failed once entire Kolchak Industrija was dismantled. And what about financial and capital market such as it was? But in one I agree with you, they should combine American and German model. Perhaps German would have taken part in it, they were neutral and all, but pity that inflation hit them. Take that Keynes.

Actually, that inflation came from debts be levied on them AGAIN after they supposedly collaborated with Russia.

Also, that behomth arose because no one else had ANY money. What did they expect to happen? They would've had to inject money into the economy through things like infrastructure building that would've required government intervention.

The inflation was already visible well before first repayments kicked in. They took Keynes one step too far and government spending started pushing out private consumption at the same time driving wages up. You know in the last few months, the average wage in Germany went up 20%.

Umm, no, the repayments started in 1946. Inflation hit in 1947. It took a mix of measures to recover from it, namely the dropping of demand for repayments by the US and UK.

Communism is far too idealistic and hard to create. Besides, the labor/socialist parties in America and Europe have been great for the leftist cause. I fear communism would've fallen into dictatorship anyway.
