Hi all,
The 1992 election was pretty close. Despite the large lead Kinnock and Labour held during Thatcher's last years in government, Major had managed to recover somewhat after taking over in November 1990.

Of course, the recovery wasn't enough for a conservative win, but what if the election campaign turned in Major's favour and he managed to pull off an upset? Kinnock was surprisingly free of Gafs in the run-up to the election, knowing Kinnock though, it isn't hard to make him put his foot in his mouth.

Assuming Major wins, what happens from there? Black Tuesday is dificult to avoid imho at this stage, but how would the Tories (who are still seen as the best managers of the economy) deal with the fall-out from it?

Who would end up as Labour Leader? I imagine Labour win in 97 (or whenever the election comes), for simelar reasons as to why the Tories won in OTL.
