dbwi: 6TH Army never break out of Stalingrad

[dbwi]
AFAIK, the 6th army saved themselves by breaking out of Stalingrad in late 1942. If they were ordered to stay back by Hitler's no reteat order, how long could they last ? Until 1943 ?

Would the complete loss of the 6th Army demoralize the German leadership enough to finally execute a coup?. The 200,000+ casualties there from September through Janaury, and the mass surrender of 180,000 Axis soldiers (90,000 Germans) in Tunisia in May, along with another 60,000 lost in the Med from November to April was not enough to tip the plotters into effective action.

As we know the Germans lost approx 60,000 men in the breakout battles, but I dont have a number for how many 'escaped'. Over 150,000?
