i'll get the ball rolling:
South America seems to be doing well, with the South American Union bringing prosperity to the region. It is a pity the CIA had to assassinate Peron among other Fascists (among other dirty deeds they got up to) but at least it ensured that the Monroe doctrine was upheld.
Recent estimates by Professor Donald Rumsfeld of the university of Miliwaukee (Historian of the Americas) suggest that the SAU's GDP will be 3/4 that of the United States by 2020.
Drug gangs (both Marxist and Neo-Justicialist) still plague South America. Recently, the terrorists FARC, a Marxist separatist organisation, bombed several homes in Bogota. Governor Uribe has promised that the actions shall not go unpunished and stepped up national guard presence in Amazonia.
While in Argentina, the Neo Fascist Third Position terrorists detonated bombs on several transatlantic flights. Their leader, known only as "Juan" said that "Evita shall be avenged. peron was a legitimate leader who was democratically elected. The CIA murderers who did this will not rest soundly while i live".
In Brazil on the other hand, the last slave gangs are being rounded up. President Luis said that "the struggle against the barbaric practice continues.
In Bolivia, Evo Morales has recently accepted US aid in his literacy campaign. Many people say he will be re-elected in a landslide.
Peru is the msot stable region in the continent. Recently it has also announced it has the highest surplus in all of the SAU.
Chile is the second most stable region, but is inching and is projected to overtake Peru by 2013.
