DBWI - 150th anniversary of the FSA's independence

150 years ago today, the Free States of America won their independence from the slavocrats and their cronies in Washington DC. President Bernie Sanders just finished his Independence Day address on national television.

Meanwhile, the United States government in Charlotte continues to make noise about the FSA's providing asylum to escaped slaves and dissidents.

OOC: Is this related to the "No War of Southern Aggression" long-running DBWI?

Well, I think President Sanders was right in his decision to reach out to the USA no matter what the Pundits say. The USA stretches from the Chesapeake bay to Vancouver, we have to make nice with them.

And yet we have the larger economy by far and the British Empire as an ally.

As a Hoosier, I'm not worried about those backward slavocrat hicks.

Happy Independence Day! Can't believe it's been 150 years since we freed ourselves from the Slaver's Tyranny. The USA may now only practice "Slavery in Name Only" but the level of discrimination and just plain evil just going on there is astounding. I'm glad we left that nation while the getting is good.

The USA does not go up to Vancouver. That's the Republic or California. You also have the Mormon Theocracy of Deseret in there if I remember my geography.

The USA went south not west like the FSA. The USA has most of the Caribbean and sections of former eastern Mexico.

I'm still of the opinion that we Brits never waged a more noble war than when we helped you gain freedom from the most evil country in history. Anyway, happy independence day; may the next 150 years be as great as the first!
