DBRP: Nothing interesting have ever happened around here

Nothing interesting have ever happened around here. I remember back in school when we went for a school trip. We went to see the site of a train chrash. It happened almost 100 years ago so it was just a small monument by the rail. It was nothing important, a train of Russian revolutionaries killed on the way back to Russia. After the revolution so it wouldn't have mattered if they made it.

(OOC: Yes, it was Lenin et al).

Besides the Russian Revolution of 1920, Europe's history has been rather peaceful and quiet, if you don't count the Balkans. In fact, with no full-scale war since 1871, I would say that Europe is lucky rather than boring.

The US has been involved in enough wars in East Asia to make up for all of your peacefulness...:(

As a citizen of the Republic of China, I would like to note that the US has indeed intervened in the affairs of our country repeatedly. The sacking of Beijing was just too much, even for a people as warlike as the Americans.

America has nothing to show for all of its wars and millions dead but some measly little Pacific Islands that are being drowned by the rise in sea levels, and complete economic and military dominance of the Far East by China.
