Just about every President in US History has had some story/accusation made about. From Kennedy's affair with Marilyn Monroe, to Jefferson's supposed slave children.

However, just yesterday, the Smithsonian Institute released a study confirming that some stories made about President Donald Curtis (R 1945-1953) might be true.

Everyone knows that President Curtis was an American Fighter Pilot in World War I. He later went on to become a Hollywood actor in the late 1920s. By the mid 1930s he had entered politics and successfully became governor of California. By 1940, he had become a Senator. He eventually ran for president and won. He was known for his hard stance against Communism and Fascism, and is today considered one of the best presidents of the later 20th century.

A number of opponents accused Curtis of once being a Bounty Hunter in Europe, even going as far as to work with Pirates and Criminals. Many people of coarse believed that such accusations were ridiculous.

However, new information has proven that said accusations may be true.

According to the found diary of aviation genius Fio Piccolo (1907-1997), Donald Curtis was in fact a bounty hunter who worked in the Adriatic, and did indeed work with Pirates in the 1920s.

Fio Piccolo (famous for breakthrough aviation inventions and theories, and CEO of Piccolo Corp. in it’s early years) states in her diary that she was good friends with famed fighter pilot and bounty hunter Marco Rossolini (AKA: Porco Rosso). Rossolini, once an Italian Air Force pilot, deserted the military with Italy’s fall to Fascism in 1922. Turning to Bounty Hunting, he was well known in Europe. Interestingly to note, there were rumors that Rossolini had a face that resembled a pig, thus the nickname Porco Rosso (Italian for “Crimson Pig”).

[The following information was taken from the diary] Curtis and Rossolini were rivals who often feuded. In 1924, Pirates who saw Rossolini as a threat to their business hired Curtis to kill Rossolini. A dogfight was arranged, but due to gun failure, the fight was finished on the ground with a brawl between the two. Rossolini won the fight, but the two put aside their differences and worked together when the Italian Airforce arrived to arrest Rossolini and Curtis. A dogfight ensued, with Rossolini and Curtis escaping. Rossolini disappeared and was never seen again.

So what do you guys think about all this?

((OOC: Taken from Hayao Miyazaki’s film Porco Rosso. In it, Donald Curtis, Porco’s rival, stated that his plan is to return home a celebrity and a war hero, go into acting (which he does at the end of film), and then become President of the United States. This TL is basically the one from Porco Rosso, assuming that Curtis does indeed become President))
