DB challenge: Turkey still in Europe

OK I'm sorry I was rude but I am really fed up with people quoting syndicist historians as though they are holy writ. I think the evidence is clear
Greece remained under Ottoman Firman until the chaos of the 1859 Balkan Revolts.

Calling that an independent Greece is like taking about The Princedom of Wales. Yes it exists but that does not make it a country.

I still say that preventing the Balkan revolts is the way to go.

Of course you could argue that an earlier (true) independence in the Balkans (Albania?) could bleed of some of the anger and allow Turkey to hang on but I don't see it.

OOC: WTH are you talking about? We're talking from the perspective of a TL which could not have diverged from our own earlier than 1850, and Greece was independent by that point. Stop trying to re-write actual history, it's pointless and does nothing to advance the thread.

OOC: Back to the thread...try to get over yourself, VoCSe/VCS/Funny Name.

IC: Constantinople was going to go to somebody...the Turks couldn't hold onto it. We all know Russia ended up with it, but it could just as easily have been Bulgaria or Greece.

Bu... Bulgaria? Hahahaha!

OOC: I have no respect for opinionated ignorance. Just ask Keenir.
