Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to have Bosnia-Herzegovina survive to the present day with a POD no earlier than its declaration of independence.
Quite hard, the Croats and Serbs were quite happy to split the country between them and massacre the Muslems. Perhaps if the Croats had done more to support a Bosnian state, and the West would have intervened. I think a UN or NATO intervention would be what it takes to save Bosnia (together with a friendlier Croatia).

To get Western intervention I think you need less support for Bosnia from Muslim states. When Turkey helped the Germans and Austrians became hostile to Bosnia. When Saudi Arabia helped the rest of Western Europe joined them. And when Iran helped the US did the same. IMO Bosnia was ruined by its friends. Maybe if Izetbegovic had not been killed he would have pursued a smarter policy.
