Danzig or War, then what?

Lets say the Poland and the rest of the Allies fold to Germany and its demand for the Polish Corridor. What next? Did Hitler have any further plans of "peaceful" conquest, that is conquest without starting a war between the Allies and Axis.
I read in Mussolini's biography that Italy was worried of a German invasion due to the fact that they hadn't established good relations until '38 or '39.

So basically after getting the Polish Corridor, what does Germany do next?

To be fair, in August 1939 Hitler demanded "only" Danzig and exterritorial passage through the Corridor. But after Czechoslovakia nobody trusted him anymore.
Personally I belive that had Poland folded Hitler would have presented more demands - this time most probably the whole Corridor, possibly with Polish enclave around Gdynia, and some of Silesia. After giving that up Poland would have been completely on Germany's mercy and made German puppet, as it happened later in Hungary and Romania.
But frankly I doubt it would have happened. Britain, France and Poland might have eventually agreed to reunification of Danzig and passage hrough the Corridor. But next demans... Poland would have not agreed and this time I think Poles would have had full British and French backing. Beacuse alternative is all central Europe under German control and it was the last thing Paris and London wanted.

In fact Hitler's allegedly moderate terms were only provided to the British after Hitler had no intention of cancelling the invasion and were largely a propaganda effort to make his latest aggression look slightly less bad.

I think the first time Hitler started publicly talking about Danzig and the highway was in january 1939, even before Czechoslovakia. But I'm not sure.
