Czechoslovakia in the 1920s?

There was a huge difference (as now) between Prague and the rest of the country, but you could start by looking up Alphonse Mucha, and this book looks good for architecture (unfortunately, you'll have to google the images separately).

Anybody know what its military was like in 1925?
in 1922 czechoslovak army was reorganized and 12 infantry divisions were created, 2 mountain brigades and 3 cavalry brigades. All together 150 000 men in peace time. In case of war, reserves would be called. Military service was 24 months, since 1924 18 months. Most of the mountain regiments were stationed at Slovakia as was also mountain artillery.

Czechoslovakia manufactured all major weapon it used but after WWI mix of different weapons were in stock. A-H, German, Russian etc. In early 20-ties rilfe vz.24 started to be manufactured (which was a bit redesigned German Mauser).

Skoda factory was huge manufacturer of guns for A-H, so there Czechoslovak army didn't have much problems.

Air force was shortly after WWI equipped with mix of French, A-H and German planes. In mid 20-ties home constructed and manufactured plane were majority.

Czechoslovak Army had also small river forces on Danube river as Danube created border with Hungary and Austria. I am not sure about their equipment in 20-ties. Later on monitor President Masaryk was built.

If you have some more detailed questions, ask. Got nice Encyklopedia of Czechoslovak army at home.
