Cyril and Methodius go to the Wends

What if after Cyril and Methodius converted Great Moravia, they try to convert the Wends in the Eastern Part of Germany and northern part of OTL Poland, I know that the Wends will adopt the Latin rite after their conversion and ally with the pope just like what the Bohemians and Croats did in OTL, how will this affect the history of Central Europe?

It depends. Will this stop the Germans from being able to try and conquer/assimilate the Wends. If so, this will have massive butterflies. If not, then it'll be much the same, just another episode in the tension between the HRE and the Vatican.

I think some of these Lechites and Wends who were converted by Cyril and Methodius will form an ATL version of "Poland" just like in OTL but earlier but without Krakow and in another name, I don't think they could capture Krakow if Greater Moravian state is not destroyed by the Magyars ..

The Slavic tribe of Vistulans (their main town was Cracow) was defeated by Svatopluk I at the end of IXth century (which is described in "The Life of St. Methodius") and their ruler was forced to baptism. It is however unsure if the Vistulans were actually conquered, or if Svatopluk simply captured Vistulan prince when he raided Great Moravia.
However, even if the Vistulans were conquered I do not think Eastern Rite to survive long in Vistulan land without Great Moravia as its protector and enforcer. Vistulans would have seen christianity (any version of it) as something forced on them, so they would have returned to their old ways at the first opportunity as they possibly did IOTL.
