Cyprus

The island never comes under crusader rules and remains independent. Does this mean that it falls to the Turks later if at all?

Well yeah,if nothing else changes(meaning the Ottoman Empire still forms)
the Ottomans can't afford to have a big island not under their control so close to their underbelly.....

A POD that alters history to get rid of the crusader conquest of Cyprus likely butterflies away the very existence of the Ottomans as a regional power let alone an empire, since it'll radically change the history of the Byzantine Empire within the years to come. Heck, the Kingdom of Cyprus was founded in 1192 - would the Fourth Crusade against Constantinople even occur?
