Custom President Forever scenarios

After playing the scenario based on A Giant Sucking Sound I figured why not create a central thread for scenarios.

Here is a 2016 mod that I've been working on for a little bit. Still a work in progress, more to be added.

Anyone else have any cool custom scenarios?

I made a "Soviet Union - 2005" scenario for the original President Forever 2004. It's not great (was my first and last scenario), but it was fun to make. As far as I know, it's still on the P4E scenarios page.

I don't have the full editor program, so I haven't been able to do different "scenarios", but I have had fun with inserting random politicians into the 2008 scenario, like Harry Reid, Gabby Giffords, and so forth.

Do you know where I can get that scenario?

I've had a look at your 2016 scenario, and it has potential I would say.

It's in the timeline. Dunno the page. It's fairly easy for an experienced player to walk away with everything in that one.

Any suggestions for the 2016 mod?

It's ok; I've got it now.

As for your mod - first of all there are some candidates that don't seem too likely to run - Patty Murray is too much of a Senate insider, Linda Lingle's political career doesn't look too rosy after her likely defeat in the Senate race this November and Sean Parnell is too unknown and doesn't seem to have much interest in national office.

There's always a few weird candidates in a presidential race. 2008 had Brownback, Hunter, etc for republicans and super senate insider Chris Dodd for democrats. I might have Lingle set to off now that you mention it though.

Nice one. I like that you don't just mix 2000 and 2008, but add some surprises. With that said, I suggest nerfing the news rate of the Iowa caucus, thanks to Branstad, á la Harkin -92.

Yeah, I ought to. Need to fix a few of the pictures too. I'm tweaking that scenario a bit.

I want to make another scenario too but I have no idea.

I was pondering something while eating lunch: President Clint Eastwood

Most likely asb; but a lot of folks like the idea of Eastwood as President, perhaps as Teddy 2.0

I know McCain asked Eastwood to be his veep (Captain Obvious: It was a joke) in '08, but Eastwood was only interested in the top spot. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2108426/posts

And Bush Sr. was seriously thinking of the idea: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/clint-eastwood-as-vp-george-h-w-bush-considered-it/

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone wanted the idea. He's well known, a symbol of America, bipartisan, big things that could balance issues like his infidelity and age (even though the man is probably fitter than 30% of the country)

And lastly, that Chrysler commercial was badass.
