Culture and Ordinary lives in Germany and U.S Cold War

Most of the thread I've seen here about Nazi Germany and U.S Cold War scenarios only mainly focuses about the political and military aspect of it. I wonder if we can tackle on the subject of culture ordinary lives in both nation. Will German citizen lives under a similar condition to the Soviet citizen during this time? Similar to USA or more or less between them? What kind of culture will trend in Germany? There's also the question of the occupied nation citizen. How about the development of entertainment technology such as television? Assuming the Cold War is still in effect until present time I also wonder what will happen to the internet? Is it possible that each US and Germany have their own networks similar to that of the internet but uses different internet protocol?

There maybe more questions as we get down to business than what I think of.

I guess your thread, like most other threads which mention Nazi Germany, won't get many responds. I've been there.

Anyway, the living condition of Germans would be significantly better than Soviets in OTL. The citizens of other European countries are closer to that.
Nazi Germany emphasized cultural status quo to 18th and 19th century classical musics and arts, so the rising trend could be new composers but following the lines of Wagner and friends.
As for computer networks, the original reason of it would be to ease inter-department coordination in case of war. Thus, the military would get the net first. Some universities would done something similar, but would be controlled and under contract with the military. Civilians would get it later than OTL, even that would be full of propagandas (in Germany). German-American net would only be possible in detente.
