What could be the effects of a Macedonian Empire lasting at least 1000 years after the conquest of Persia (330 B.C)? The empire should at least keep the territories of Egypt, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Iran, Anatolia, Thracia and old Macedonia during most of this period, but variations in the size of the territory should be taken into account (ex: expansions in the Balkans,India and north Africa; Fights against the romans).
How would the greek language evolve? And the religious background? Would the empire have some sort of East-West cultural division, like the Roman Empire (West=Greek and East= Persian)?
