Crusader Vows

Does anyone have any sources for the vow people would take when they took the cross during the crusades? I'm interested in both the text of the vow and the ceremony around it, which from what I understand involved asking whoever the local ecclesiastical authority was for permission, as well as gaining the permission of the wife (as she would be denied her marital rights), although I think Innocent III or someone did away with needing the wife to okay the whole thing. I'm also interested in the vows, ceremonies and day to day life/society in the Catholic Military Orders if anyone has any sources/good books to suggest.

Thanks Guys!! :)

All I remember at the moment is that different crusades had different vows, and permitted different participants. I can recommend the History of the Crusades podcast and I know she goes into detail about the vows.

Thanks, I listened to a few of the chapters so far and it's already been helpful :)
