Crossing the Bosphorus at Constantinople and General Sea Travel in Classical times

Thanks guys, this is really helpful. I 'm thinking about posing a physiological what-if, and your responses have helped my thought processes....

In personal-union with the Ottoman Empire... ;):D:cool::eek::eek::eek::D

House of Osman-Habsburg, anyone? :D

Due to my religious belief, you have placed before me a rather tough choice ;):rolleyes:

But hey look at the bright side ! Maybe with this, we can see a somewhat less Arabesque, more European/Romanesque/Hellenic Islamic culture within a bukkake empire of dominions :eek:;):cool: (I've been always wanting for an Islamic Hellas....:cool::cool: *wipe his drools* oops..;):p)

:D

We have found an almost perfect Central-Southeastern Europe-Middle Eastern Empire...

Now, if we could just have the Byzantines in there somewhere... ;)

House of Osman-Habsburg-Commenus anyone? :D:D:D:D

Austro-Byzanto-Ottoman Empire, here we come... :p

But... but... but...

Austria + Byzantium + Ottomans...

Unfortunately, if we count in logic and reason, Islamic Hellas may will not going to be compatible to go side by side with Ottoman Empire. If Murad II hadn't re-establish Greek Orthodox Church, than Greece would have been Turkified way more heavily than OTL. It's just to bad we don't know yet how to make these two things co-existing.... :noexpression:
