Cripple the Royal Navy

Not intended as a judgement on you, just a comment on how many threads there seem to be focused on Britain doing worse and Germany, or indeed Japan doing better.

Really????

Right now you have the Happy Glorious Whale (3 threads) greatly helping the UK. Calbear has two TL slaughtering the Japanese (ASB + 1900).
I have a TL up helping the German Navy. What are the other 4+ TL where RN does worse, Japan does better or Germany does better.

Um 'Happy and Glorious' and 'Whale has Wings' makes two threads. As for the rest take a trawl though the first couple of pages in post 1900.

A few days ago when commenting on another thread I counted 7 threads on page 1 of post 1900 that either had the Nazis or a watered down version of Nazis doing better or asking how it could be done. I didn't include those threads that had Germans doing better in WW1 as a starting point.

Happy and Glorious was originally started after more than a year of watching countless threads being posted about German super ships, super planes, Manstein being a genius, Rommel winning everywhere, what if Barbarossa succeeded and of course what if Hitler was a little less crazy:rolleyes: etc.

I wondered where the Allied threads were and more specifically British stuff. True some existed but they were thin on the ground in comparison and few did more than ask a simple what if and then vanished among the panzers, U boats and Bismarck surviving threads. There were few Allied storylines around. Now I can see two and Sharlin has tried something original with the Franco-Japanese naval war.
