Crimean war: Austria would shock the world by the depth of its ingratitude

what if prince Schwarzenberg dint die in 1852 but in 1857. he was able Successor of Metternich
what if Austrian empire declare war on Russia in 1854 ?
Sweden surely will join Crimean war if Austria joint allies in 1854
how bad will Russia get peace deal

Same as OTL, but loses Finland to Sweden and maybe some minor concessions to Austria in Poland or the Ukraine.

Sweden's reason for holding out against a war with Russia was that it wasn't sure whether Britain and France were committed to full-scale war with Russia (which they weren't). If the British and French strategy was limited to picking off coastal fortresses and destroying the Russian navy, rather than eliminating the bulk of Russian military power (the army), then there really wasn't much reason for Sweden to join in a war in which its interests (recovery of Finland) could easily be 'sold out' once the UK and France achieved their basic objectives (which were in the Balkans). The addition of Austria or not doesn't make much difference in this regard, save maybe making it more likely that Russian land power would be distracted in battles with the Austrian armies.

In any case, without the benefit of hindsight it's not particularly clear what Austria would have to gain from joining the Western powers. Russia's perilous position due to the war meant that the prime objective of Austrian policy - stemming the rise of Russian influence in the Balkans and the evacuation of the Danubian principalities - could be achieved with threats alone; and Austria joining the war would mean a powerful Russian offensive into its territories. So while staying neutral would mean trouble in a decade's time, Buol's policy in keeping Austria out was not particularly stupid.

If the British and French keep their limited objectives in the Crimean War, it's unlikely the peace deal would have been much different for Russia, save maybe a faster end to the war, and a more comprehensive demilitarization of the Balkan frontier, maybe also the Aland islands if Sweden does join. Nobody particularly wanted a large scale war during the period, if only (like Britain) because of financial reasons, so their demands would be kept in line.
