How dominant group Goths were anymore during Tatar invasion?
Russians came to Crimea too late to absorb the Goths. By 1771, all descendants of the Crimean Goths spoke Crimean Tatar (or Turkish) and self-identified as Greeks (if they were still Orthodox) or Tatars (if they were Muslims). Neither Crimean Greeks (resettled to Southern Ukraine in 1777-1783) nor Crimean Tatars were Russified to any extent before the 20th century. By now, both groups speak mostly Russian, but they still self-identify as Greeks and Tatars. Not at all. In all respects, they were slowly absorbed into the dominant ethnic group in control of the region at the time (Greek, Tatar, likely Russian too). That didn't stop Hitler and co. from entertaining delusions of restoring the 'Gothic' identity of Crimea (largely by wiping out the current inhabitants and replacing them with Germans).

I see. Well, it's probably possible, if very unlikely, to have a Gothic Emirate, but the problem lies in trying to upending Tatar rule, and the fact that their numbers would probably be too small and too naturally assimilated to consider revolting. Not sure if having a Goth becoming emir of a Tatar-dominated Emirate applies in this WI.
