Crete 1941 - German focus on Maleme

I was reading about Crete and discovered that originally there were two German plans to capture Crete.
XI Fliegerkorps proposed simultaneous drops on seven different sites to capture all key points at once.
Luftflotte IV wanted airborne landings only around Maleme and Canea, following up with a ground advance eastwards. The plan decided on was a compromise between the two, with the results we all know.
What if the Germans decide to go with the Maleme focus? How would the battle play out? I reckon the Germans would win, due to their air superiority and focused resources. How about you?

This plan forms the basis for an alternative history where the Germans suffer lower casualties in Crete and are able to use the paratroopers in the invasion of Russia to seize the oil fields before they can be destroyed.

They might well lose. A big part of German success was the scattered landings paralyzing British command and breaking their will to fight due to fears of greater German strength than actually existed. Maleme was the best defended of all the sites, so focusing on it means the Brits can concentrate their reserves on Maleme and counterattack when IOTL they were locked down for the paralysis caused by drops all over the island and not knowing the main effort or if diverting resources would open an airfield to a subsequent drop.
