Coxinga doesn't die timeline

Ah. For a second there I thought your site belonged to one of those SHWI veterans who dropped from the online alt-hist scene after the newsgroup collapsed a few years ago.

The parts about the Spanish Court are reminiscent of Terry Pratchett...

And I like the idea of a longer-lived Zheng Chenggong who goes on to conquer the Philippines, the Indonesian archipelago and Australia

I'm definitely interested. Though you may want to note that Clements writes in The Pirate King: Coxinga and the Fall of the Ming Dynasty the titular marauder had two elite units, the Black Guard (African former slaves of the Portuguese) and the Iron Men, so "Men of Iron" wouldn't necessarily be a new concept to the Ming loyalists.

The Iron Men were armored infantry.

Sorr, them Ironsides 'ull be needin' 'orses has big has bulls!

"He says that the Men of Iron will require steeds with the fire and majesty of the blazing kine. Or, perhaps, with great stones."

Gronk.

And the cool thing about the Iron Men is that history does not record who or what they are besides armored heavies, but it's probable that they were ronin samurai. Coxinga had a really multicultural retinue.
