Could Wiemar Germany Have Won WW2?

I disagree on US Support of Japan, the US primarily did the trade embargoes because Japan invaded China. Which is separate from the issue of Germany and these embargoes were in place by the mid 30s. I don't see that changing because that's a Japanese idea, it is before any alliance they had with Germany and Hitler had no real say in it.

It is possible that Japan because it has no alliance with Germany or Italy chooses not to attack Pearl Harbor though. As such the US would not enter the war. The problem with that though is strategically the Japanese need the Philippines to make a safe support line from Indonesia to Japan to secure the flow of oil, much like it needs Korea for Food and Manchuria for materials.

However if Japan delays an invasion of the Philippines say by 2 years counting on the US not to attack its convoys as a provocation of war, then the Philippines would be an independent nation. It was already in the works at the time of the invasion. Once its independent Japan might could attack it without raising the fervor in the US that attacking Pearl did, after all the Philippines choose to leave the USA and thus it was not longer US territory. FDR could get material support similar to lend-lease to them but nothing like invading Japan's holdings.

You could then end up where the USA never enters the war, and remains essentially neutral. Without the USA's manpower and industrial power any invasion of the Japanese mainland is doomed to fail.

short awnser? no.

Hitler brought to the fore germanies best generals who otherwise wouldnt have risen so high. he gave germany pride and increased her industrial and miltary coppasity.

and why would the weimar start a war anyway? they werte not expansionist by thart point and britain and france are hardly going to provoke them.
