Could this lead to a Native American Empire?

What if domesticated animals were native to North and South America, animals such as Chicken, Cows, Pig, Sheep and Goats. Along with Donkeys and Horses.

Could this lead to the Americas developing at the same pace as Europe did in OTL?

You can't develop at a certain pace in history, because historical development is not linear.

But yes, more domesticated animals might make there be more complex societies.

Also indigenous empires did exist, mind you.

In order for all of these animals to be native to the Americas, you would need a POD that might butterfly humanity itself. Probably not workable.

What you could do though, is some kind of an alternate Quaternary Extinction timeline in which American megafauna survive. North America already has sheep, there were some relatives of musk-oxen that may have made good analogues to cows during the Late Pleistocene, but we also have mooses for this as well and musk-oxen in the extreme north. Pigs... peccaries, maybe? There were peccaries in North America, but peccaries today are evil, aggressive little shits. It's possible that boars acted this way once upon a time, before acclimating to the presence of hominins over the course of about 2.5 million years though. There are a couple of different equids to choose from, and also llamas and a species of camel as well. And then for chickens, well... we have turkeys! So no need for them.
