Say the Arab nations of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, U.A.E, Kuwait and possibly Egypt, as well as the lands of Palestine, were instead created to be an independent Arab nation after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Assuming they overcome the initial challenges of power struggles and political shifts and manage to hold together, is it possible for this nation to become a world superpower by today off of all their oil money? I would imagine their assets could soon rival that of the U.K. and France, if we take nuclear weapons out of the equation.
