I've been looking around and what I've seen is pre-war there were 2 governments on the Korean peninsula and both were dictatorships. A fascist in the south, a communist in the north. Prior to the war both sides had done border incursions and in fact the south had done its own "invasions" of the north prior to the war.

So in some ways maybe the Norths invasion of the south was justified?

Or maybe I've been reading wrong?

Plus in regards to the Korean war being a "police action" maybe the outside world should have just allowed both countries to fight it out then deal with whoever came out the winner?

What do you all think?
