Could one come close to / break Genghis' record in procreation?

Beside the record of having most descendants, did Genghis Khan also set the record of fathering most children in one's lifetime?

There were many long-lasting polygamist dynasties - could a progenitor with even more monstrous manhood beat Genghis' record?

Not too hard, many polygamist rulers who also had harems of hundreds of concubines could easily have come close. In the early days of sperm donation, a man might be able to father more children than Genghis Khan did although it would be very unethical and that's why nowadays it would be almost impossible for a man to be able to donate that much sperm. Although I could totally see a dictator (or maybe their son given how sons of dictators often turn out) using sperm donation to inseminate thousands of women for some reason or another (he could of course just have them brought to him, but it would take too much time and expose him to STDs or other harm).

Beside the record of having most descendants
The most recent common ancestor of all living humans is believed to have lived around 2000~5000 years ago. So no.

We don’t know, because we don’t have good enough evidence of exactly how many children Genghis had.

a progenitor with even more monstrous manhood
Uh...what?

It's almost as if European colonialism didn't happen! Honestly, I bet there are more people descended from Anglo-Saxons or Germanics in general than there are of Mongols.

What a loser. Moulay Ismail ibn Sharif would call that "a pretty good year."

Moulay Ismaïl is alleged to have fathered a total of 867 children, including 525 sons and 342 daughters, was noted by 1703 and his 700th son was born in 1721. It is estimated that he had 2,000 concubines. This is widely considered the record number of offspring for any man throughout history that can be verified.

The man could have fielded an all-son regiment.
