Could Mexico defeat the USA with a 1910 PoD and a US screw?

There is a new HoI IV mod that you probably heard of, It is called "Fuhrerreich", I'm not going to go deep into it, if you are interested you can find the lore here. But something that... disturbs me is how Mexico can defeat the US in a all out war, and so I decided to ask it here: Is this plausible?

In 1940 the population of Mexico was about 19 million people, while the american one was rouding 150 million. According to the game lore, Mexico unified faster and suffered less with their civil war, while adopting a stalinist like industrialization program that resulted on mexico being more industrial and prosperous than OTL 1940 Mexico, there is also a more cohesive government than OTL. On the other hand, the US is suffering way more with the great depression, to the point that there is spread malnurishment. Still there is 130 more people in the US than in Mexico, even if the mexican government was completely free of corruption, and scrapped the barrel with their mobilization, they still wouldn't be able to invade the US succesfully, or would they? It is possible?

I consider that section of lore itself to be ASB, simply due to the fact that it's a complete cultural and economic 180 taking place on the geopolitical head of a pin (Not to mention, if two geographic regions have THAT level of economic disparity exists you'll inevitably end up with labor flow/migration... which means Mexico's northern states ought to be flooded with huddled masses of illegal Yanqui immigrants), but even assuming that Mexico wouldn't be able to win such a war. The US industrial infastructure, raw materials, farmland, ect. is still THERE and only being underutilized due to the capitalist systems of organization having broken down completely. A major war would remove any suicidal hang ups (via nationalization if nessicery) and bring the dead workshop of the world back to life with a flood of pump priming greenbacks

What is the most likely scenario? Could Mexico overrun southern US before being pushed back?

Oh, the US is going to get hammered initially: have you read 1921: America's Great War? It would take awhile to summarize the whole campaign path, since it would go through many small, gradually shifting stages, but that book would give you the general structure
