Could a German-Japanese Cold War have been possible?

If the Axis won WW2, could Japan and Germany have developed a Cold War? Or there will be needed ASB?

How exactly is Japan supposed to survive? Nazis surviving WWII from the Atlantic coast to the Ural Mountains is remotely plausible if given a huge amount of luck, but Japan has absolutely 0 chance of beating the US. The US was gonna embargo the Japanese anyways unless if they leave China, so they had to obtain oil by striking Indochina, which would force them to attack the Americans in the Phillippines as well to secure their supply lines.

How big would be Axis victory? I don't even believe that it would be possible. Axis might win in Europe with good luck but even then it has much problems. And Japan hardly can survive from WW2.

More plausible is Axis-Western Democracies-Communist Bloc Cold War.

Again, another tourette-like mind dump. Where is the POD or premise for this proposal?

I'm no Mod, thank goodness, but IMO, surely posting to AltHis isn't just a process of throwing impulsive thoughts at the fan and seeing what sticks?

Ok, bye then. I just wanted opinions.

Erm of your eight posts at the time of writing I can find one (1) that has more than a single sentence and that had no more than three. So you are averaging perhaps one and quarter sentences per post. If you find sentences hard then imagine for a moment that others might find it equally hard. Thus if you want more effort from others you should perhaps put more effort in yourself.

In the unlikely event of an Axis victory barring Hitler's envisaged continuation war against the United States then an open armed conflict is inevitable, war and its purifying necessity being a cornerstone of Hitler's beliefs.
