Awesome.
Will Christianity be butterflied away?
The Christianity already exists for some 300 years.
The update is awesome!
Great update. I think what he meant by "will Christianity be butterflied" is will Christianity being the dominant religion be butterflied away.
Thanks for the comments, you three. In regards to Christianity, I'm still making up my mind. I rather brusquely swept it under the rug the first go round, but I'm rethinking that position.
Armenia nominally, but Parthia in truth.
Julianus was a friend of Pertinax? And then he had no scruples to essentially buy the throne from the Praetorians? And Sulpicianus was the other bidder.
I was hoping someone would catch that. Julianus and Pertinax were consuls in 175 (well, suffet consuls) together, and there were a few other coincidences of job (I recall something about proconsuls of Africa). I'll be honest, I was relying more upon my inclusion of that in the original instance of the timeline than fresh research.
And in regards to the scruples thing, well Julianus wasn't known for scruples. He made Pertinax look charming by comparison.
Glad to see this back, consider me subscribed again.
Thank you.
I wonder if Vologases V will have better luck against Getis than OTL Septimius Severus...
We'll have to see.
