Consequences of retaining the Articles of Confederation in the French Revolutionary Wars

I wanted to ask what consequences would have had not adopting the US Constitution and retaining instead the Articles of Confederation in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Would there have been any butterflies? Or would everything have gone like IOTL? Thank you very much for your answers.

A consequence would probably be that there is no Louisiana purchase in 1803, which may affect the Napoleonic wars, but would have been any butterflies before that?

If there no constitutionthis is means the USA would break apart into separate states. Which means there nothing the USA could do when Britain starts taking ships and taking people off them which prob still happen because there nothing stoping British sailors from jumping ships just like otl.

And what does that mean? Would that influence the wars?
