In the Southern Victory series we see a CSA that was able to stay separate from the US, that would later consequently turn to fascism after losing the Great War, and resort to outright genocide on the level of the holocaust towards African Americans, the CSA loses the second Great War and their attrocities are exposed and they're forced to unite with the US as anyone who's read the series knows.
But what would happen afterwards, how would American society heal after such an atrocity were committed, how would the perception of the CSA change by the present day and would confederate imagery even be socially acceptable to display publicly?
How about race relations or the civil rights movement?
