1862 Winter- Confed intell learns that Juraz is in New Mexico, protected by Lincoln's Pickertons.
Spring- Confederate Envoys in Mexico give info to Maximillians Gov't, along with permission to enter Confederate Territory of NM. They express wish that Mexico remembers were info came from. Small group of American abolishinists killed by Brazilian Troops During Slave uprising. US Protests, but as they were private people, does nothing.
Summer- 300 french speaking "Mexican" Troops Cross into NM and arrest Juraz & most of his Cabinet. Unfortunally, Several Pickertons are Killed, with others wounded.
Fall- Mexico "Regonizes" "The CSA" The CSA "regonizes" Maximillians Gov't. Lots of anqruery Protests and other Diplomatic going ons. Lincoln Blames France, Would like to do something, But doesn't want another war. France Extents "Commercial Credits" to CSA [basically cosigns it's credit card] Without formal regonizition. US recalls Ambassorber.
1863 Winter- Confed envoys in England and France start Buying and shipping [on French ships] supplies to Mexico. There they are transshipped north thru Texas.
Spring- following US protests France sends fleet to Mexico to prevent US Blockade. US sends Gen Grant with New 'Army of Texas' to Close Texas Border. Burnsides put in charge of Mississippi Campaign.
Summer- Battle of Vicksburg- Burnsides plans a flanking attack, draws straws to see we will lead. Gen Rosecarns in Charge. Day of attack Rosecarns is in his tent nurseing a bottle of rum. His Major is shot in the opening moments, and the liuentents lead the attack headlong into the heart of the Confed defenses. By the time the pursuit and attacks end, Burnside & the Union are back in Ohio, and the CS has taken Tennessee. Large Group of Abolishinists arrive Rio de Janerio.
Fall- Tennesee joins CS. Battle of York [with french supplies Lees troops aren't forageing in Gettysburg] Union Troops retreat to Phillidelphia, instead of pursuing Lee marches south, captures Baltimore & Annapolis. US Govt evaculates to Pennsylvania.
1864 Winter- Grant Outlaws Texas & NM Rangers. The Rangers were leading the resitance to Grants Garrisoning, mostly they were attacking any supply train they could find, while tring to keep the Border open. Maryland joins the CSA.
Spring- West Marysland [3 countys] Suceeds from Marysland
form State of Aplachia [OTL this was WV]. Aplachia admitted to Union.
Summer- CS wins Battles of Aberdeen, & Nashville. Grant fights [wins] 2nd Battle of the Alamo, Alamo Destroyed.
Fall- McCellan Wins President, Dem's Offer Peace Platform.
1865 Winter- Both sides know the end is near, and neithier want to fight the last battle so a onoffical creasefire holds, dispite of Lincoln's trys. McCellan Sworn in Calls for Peace talks in Inaguaral Address. [The CSA is in much better shape ITTL, so the change in McCellan].
Fall- Treaty of Aberdeen- US regonizes CSA, Gold reserve divided per 1860 census, CS get NM Territory. Grant withdraws from Texas & NM. Thru thing seem to be returning to normal 2 Yrs of occupation have lead to many small unnoticed changes.
1866- CS uses lots of the Gold to repay France [not wanting to end up like Mexico] Starts Building Navy and Merchant Marine. US starts Transcontinital RR.
1867- Breckinridge Elected President of CSA. Calls for the States to Build a Transcontintal RR to compete with US.
1868- CSA Buys Baja California for 15 Million-- North & West of Gila River.
Treaty sets south bank of "Rivers" as boundrary. Also contains a mutural defense clause. Mexico uses most of payment to finish repaying GB & France. uses rest to build RRs & start Navy.
Brazil protest US [abolishinists] interference in Brazilian politics
1870- Prussia-Franco War- CSA offically nuetral, Mexico sends several divisions of troops to help France. Hires CS Ships to transport them.
1871- CSA sends Food to Help during the Seige of Paris. Mexicain Troops intrumental in Lifting Seige.
1872- Emperors Napolean III & Maximillian sign defense Treaty American Abolishinists arrested in Brazil for organizing a slave revolt. sentenced to Hanging. US protests, sends Warship to deliver the Protest. Emperor Pedro Asks France for advise. A Mexican & a French Warship arrive in Brazil at same time as US Ship. Several week later everone goes home.
1874- inproving relations between France & Mexico with Brazil, Leads to a treaty of Freindship between the three.
1875- US completes Trancon RR- Chicago to Seattle. Completes Pacific RR Seattle to San Deigo. Texas & New Mexico Conplete Western Link -Galverston- Tijuana. Most of Mexicos new RRs link to this.
1876- growing differences between east [alantic] and west [Texas, et al] going back to Grants occupaction, following the Emanicpation Proclimation lead to Texas Secseccion. Misorii joins Texas
1877- Treaty of Havana- US CS Tex Mex, US Tex border Arkansaw River west to Colorado South to old US Mex Border west to Pacific. Mexico Reconizes Texas takes CSA teritory North of Mexico. Texas-CSA Red river north to the Arkansaw, Texas pays CS 25 Million for NM & Baja Teritories.
1878-Texas Consitution- close to Both US & CS except divides Republic of Texas into 21 Districts, based on Population, with 3 senators each. And banned the Import, EXport, or sale of Involuntary Servants. [The few that were left after Grant].
1878- After Spain refused to sale Cuba, The CSA went to war with Spain. Due to infrastructure problems the CS had supply difficulties and ended up buying lots from France, Mexico, & Brazil, Its Main Trading Partners, since the Cival War. [Britian had problems with its continuing Slavery]
1879-Spain sales Cuba for 15 million to CS. The CS had spent close to Ten mill During the war. So It simply assigned the rest of Texas' payment to Spain.
1882- Following the Spainish War the CS had relizied some of its problems and moved closer to its trading partners to help solve them. By 1882 the CSA asked to be included in the alliance. Thus on 14 July 1882 the Qraduple Alliance That was so important in the GW1, was formed.
