Columbus starts expedition from the Netherlands

Given that the Netherlands had competent navigators, he'd be laughed out of court, just like in Portugal.
There's a REASON he sailed for Spain.

Maybe in an OTL scenario, Spain isn´t available and he knocks on doors in Denmark and tasked to rediscover Vinland. He then sails with a fleet of Holks and Cogs ,manned by German, Norwegian, Islandic and Danish sailors to Island and than to old Markland, where he sets foot on shore.

But Columbus was selling 'trip to China', not 'rediscover Vinland'.

But, you know, you might have a point. If Columbus did approach e.g. Denmark, they might go 'that's absurd - Vinland's there, not China. But we don't know what ELSE is there, maybe you can get to China VIA Vinland, revictual there, etc.' Hmmm...
OTOH, even if he sparked the idea, I doubt they'd put him fully in charge. They might let him have overall command to start with, but a sane Dane would have secret orders to take charge if the idiot started doing something really stupid.

IMO

Dear Dathi my Idea is to have get him started from the Netherlands you make it look like if this could not happen this is still alternate history zo in my opinion he starts from Antwerp

what would happen if the Habsburg Burgundians were the sponsors of the Expedition of Columbus and it starts in Antwerp any suggestions?

The issue here is the wind and currents. One of the reasons for seeking an Iberian sponsor was that Columbus was enough of a navigator to know in which latitude the winds were favourable for a voyage out. Trying to cross the North Atlantic from the European direction in the Age of Sail was interesting to say the least as Cabot found out. Homeportingin Antwerp would require either longer range vessels than he used OTL or some serious skulduggery in order to avoid suspicion when revictualling in either a Spanish or Portuguese port.

Hold it, if the Hapsbrug Burgundians are funding it, what's keeping Columbus from sailing to the Canary Islands and paying for docking rights? He can then sail to Cuba and then go back to Antwerp. Of course, the problem is that he seriously underestimated the size of the world and all the competent people in Burgundy knew about that little problem so one wonders whose the idiot that funded Colombus

King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella hired two experts to analyze Columbus's plan. Both came to the conclusion he was crazy. But they funded Columbus anyway because they felt the expense was worth the risk. Not every monarch would have taken the risk.
