Columbia: The Rise and Fall of a Nation.

Hey fellas. Believe it or not, this is yet another TL production of mine.....:D

For those who may be wondering, this TL actually got its start as an inspiration from lists done by history nerd and Turquoise Blue, and is going to be a slightly more informal project, mainly to pass time in between my more formal projects.

This TL, as written, will largely utilize a style of writing that has been adapted from Cliveless World and other Tony Jones works, but I do plan on writing a few actual story pieces as well.

So, basically, as the story goes, the U.S. loses the Revolutionary War and the Colonies instead become something of a cross between OTL's Canada & the C.N.A. from For Want of a Nail, with Elector Kings thrown in for good measure(also, major spoiler: Canada itself becomes very much like OTL's America, but with a unique flair added to it).

This country does not, sadly, survive to the present day, but it certainly does leave a mark on world history. What is that mark, exactly? Stay tuned, and you'll find out.....:D

Could you give a brief explanation of what the CNA is?

The Confederation of North America; it was the state created out of the 13 Colonies(and adjacent territories) in the aftermath of the failed American Revolution. Basically, it was kinda like a more temperate version of OTL's Canada. ;)

Elector kings sounds weird. Almost ASB, tbh.

Well, there was a system used by Hanover for a while.....and, IIRC, modern Malaysia has something like this as well.

Still, looking forward to this.

Glad to hear it. This is actually going to be a beta thread of sorts, btw; the final finished product, as it were, will likely be on another site.
