Colonisation/Conquest of North Asia

China? Japan? Korea? Whoever controls Central Asia, like a powrful neopersian empire, or one led by someone like Tamerland? The British or other western European power during the age of colonialism? There are several candidates

China would most certainly expand northward into the unclaimed space. Assuming Russia doesn't take North Asia, then we can expect Turkestan to be unconquered by Russia, and we'd probably see an independent Turkic Khanate (or possibly many, such as Bukhara, Almaty :D). These would expand northward too.

Russia's border would probably be the Urals, so anything east of that would be Turkic or Chinese. Perhaps the Japanese end up claiming some too? China probably wouldn't expand into Kamchatka, so that would be left for Japanese colonisation.

Of course, it is hard to know because of the butterflies of Russia remaining relatively small and west of the Urals.

It will be ruled by local tribes until Japan starting to look for natural resources. Japan would have conquered entire siberia by late 19 century.

Manchu Rulers in China didn't allow chinese to move northward.
